Hacienda del Alamo is a golf resort with enough on-site to keep you entertained and nearly all within a short walk of the apartment.

Golf
The golf resort was designed by Dave Thomas Ltd. The challenging course opened for play in 2006 and was designed to test golfers of all abilities with the holes surrounded by natural rough ground.
The Course is very long so a buggy is highly recommended and you can expect a round to take you about 4 and a half hours. Buggies can be hired for a very reasonable amount.
From the back tees, the par 72 course measures 6,724 metres, one of the longest ccoursesin Spain. The two loops of nine holes with two par threes and two par fives meander through the almond and olive orchards ,enhanced with several lakes and cascades. Also in operation is the golf academy for lessons and a driving range which has 6 full golf holes, two putting greens providing learning golfers the perfect environment to improve their game.
The par four 6th has a demanding drive and the par four 11th is highlight, with a tricky approach to a raised green. The 18th hole is a fantastic par five with water on the left of the green.
There is a great clubhouse with a Bar, Restaurant, and Shop.

Local Area
The closest town is Fuente del Alamo which has several supermarkets as well as general shops and plenty of bars and restaurants.
Beaches
The two closest beaches are Mazzaron and Los Alcazares, which are a 30-minute or less drive. There is also Mar Menor, the largest lagoon in Europe. You can see more about the local beaches here.
